• Designing the future starts today. There is a direct correlation between a country's development and its transportation system. Establishing a balanced and healthy structure in the transportation sector depends on the success of the Transportation Master Plan and Strategic Transportation Plans, which include concrete and applicable recommendations.
• In this context, the transportation sector will be re-planned for the future by considering the current status of the sector, as well as economic, commercial, social, cultural, environmental, and military objectives. Priorities, actions, and appropriate tools for implementation will be identified, and an integrated transportation system will be established where transportation modes complement rather than compete with each other.
6. REORGANIZATION OF THE CURRENT MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION MODEL
• Establishing a well-organized railway operation structure to use the existing railway line capacity more efficiently, increase the transportation of goods and passengers, and enhance the competitiveness of railways with other transportation modes by reducing transportation costs.
